Last three weeks in the Tollywood box office, we have been witnessing new stories and content-driven movies in Telugu. The industry is shining right now and Samantha Akkineni comes in to brighten it even more.

Baby (Lakshmi) who is a mother of one and also a grandmother of two, is quite an active lady. Along with her best friend, Chanti (Rajendra Prasad) runs a canteen whereas his son works as a professor in the same college where they run the canteen. She always feels that God has done injustice to her in her life. And due to her dominating nature in her home, her daughter-in-law feels too much stress at a level where she gets acute heart stroke and doctor suggests her to keep them away from one another. This causes Baby to get out of home and in midst of an event the magic happens and she ages back to 24 and becomes the old baby (Samantha). The rest is on how Samantha uses this opportunity to enjoy and realise.

It is obvious that everyone will just stick to screen whenever Samantha appears on the screen, she has an awesome screen presence throughout the movie and displayed one of her career-best performance. Samantha proves that no one else than Sam could have pulled off such a tricky character.
Director Nandini Reddy did a great job in writing by bringing the 'Telugu' nativity and handled the show very well. Till date, this is her best-directed movie where she got the chance to showcase her screenplay.
The supporting crew were equally good, especially Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh & Lakshmi. Naga Shaurya is as usual at his best.

The music director, Mickey J Meyer’s tunes create the kind of impact a family entertainer should have.

Humour and emotional scenes make you laugh and move to tears.

As mentioned earlier, emotional scenes were good, however, few of the scenes were present just to give a message which makes us feel like these scenes were added to make the movie even more emotional.

The second half of the movie seemed to be a bit dull.

Oh Baby is yet another out-of-the-box movie from the Tollywood industry which has been producing great stories recently. Everything is inch-perfect in this feel-good movie. Apart from some very minor negatives, the movie was exceptional. A must watch with your families for a fun and an emotional ride. Entertainment is guaranteed.
