All is not going well for the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu. As the Telegu Desam Party chief went on vacation with his family abroad, four of the party's 6 Rajya Sabha MPs joined the BJP.

Until now, the TDP had six MPs in the Rajya Sabha and four of them have already announced that they will be joining the BJP. On Thursday, TDP MPs TG Venkatesh, YS Chowdary, GM Rao and CM Ramesh had announced that they will be joining the BJP. They also met the Rajya Sabha chairman and the Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu and had submitted their resignation from the TDP.

As the BJP is aiming for a majority in the Upper house and now with four out of six TDP MPs breaking away from their party and joining the BJP, it will increase the strength of BJP by taking the count to 71 MPs, becoming the single largest party in the Rajya Sabha while the total strength is 245.

Meanwhile, the TDP chief posts an emotional message on his Facebook and Twitter accounts. "We have lakhs of Karyakarthas and crores of Telugu people behind us. History will repeat itself. There is nothing to worry" the tweet said.

The TDP lost power to YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh in the recent elections. The party could secure only 23 seats of the 151 Assembly seats. It won only three of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

And now with their MP's leaving the party, the former ruling party is now left in crisis and it would be interesting to see how the TDP leader setbacks the things for his party and get the glory back again.
