Review:

After having two dull weeks at the box office, people were hoping for the hyped Falaknuma Das to break the deadlock, however, even it may continue to the dull phase.

Story:

Das(Vishwak Sen, the hero) is a kid from Falaknuma, Hyderabad; who dreams to become like their local goon, Shankar by setting up a gang and will be on the verge of doing it, since he is a kid. After a few years, Shankar dies among the hands of his relative's kids, Ravi & Raju. And then, the story revolves around, how it affected the life of Das, the Highs and Lows and then the local goon war going till the end.

Highs:

Director, Screenplay writer and Hero of film Vishwak Sen succeeded in delivering the flavour of real Hyderabadi aura, which doesn't even show the cliches of showing the Charminar or Hitec City. The city lives throughout the movie. D.O.P. did a good job in keeping the city alive in the movie. There are few long duration shots and the climax itself was a single shot, which was taken approximately for more than ten minutes, continuously. BGM was good during the fights and showing the rage of Das.

The supporting role, which was performed by Uttej was a plus to the movie. The senior actor acted in the movie after a long time and the film gets major push only because of the supporting role. Remaining of the cast, who were new also performed impressively.

The surprising role was of the director, Tharun Bhaskar who performed excellently as he had a good screen presence. The interval bang is the biggest plus point for the movie and was well narrated by the movie director, Vishwak Sen.

Lows:

However, after a giving an epic first half, the tempo in the film will get slow in the second half and people will get bored as it was dragged a lot with the love story of Das. Also, it becomes more predictable in the end.

The film was directed by basing the youth and it is not at all suggested for families as it involves a lot of abusive and violence content.

In the end, it just becomes a one time watch for the audience for the raw flavour of Hyderabad and good performances by Vishwak Sen, Uttej & remaining crew who played as antagonists.

Ratings: 3/5
